Lessons
1. Without solid Biblical leadership, any church can go sideways regardless of who started it and how long it was disciplined (Acts 20:29,30; 1 Timothy 1:3).
2. Family issues are not to be exclusively handled within the private family, but rather at times are a larger church family matter (1 Timothy 2:8-15, 3:4, 5:1-16).
3. There are some scriptures directed to N.T. churches that are meant to be directly applied to all Christians, others are not meant for this purpose, but have different teaching value (1 Timothy)
