2. Elders should not let their unhealthy fixation be their foundation (1 Timothy 6:4)
3. Godly managing of one’s household consists of serving and guarding (Genesis 2:15, Numbers 18:7, 1 Timothy 3:4,5)
4. Potential elders’ family and specifically their kids are to be their greatest resume (1 Timothy 3:4)
5. Discipline produces submissive kids, and submissive kids’ trust and obeys their parents (Prov 13:1, 22:15)
